See the RAZON

I’m so excited about RAZON, a new high-end Eyewear brand. Native to Miami; they’re coming in with a splash and thinking outside of the frame in a revolutionary way!

Who doesn’t love a quality brand, with luxurious eye-catching products, who gives back to the less fortunate?!?!

The stylish shades are designed for both men and women and are a true representation of Miami culture and lifestyle. RAZON’s sporty chic sunglasses are carefully crafted in signature woods, Bamboo, ebony, and Rosewood. Engraved with their logo, which carries the iconic symbol of Florida, the flamingo, they truly have the look and feel of luxury.

I’m totally obsessing over the yellow pair!

Being a Miami Native myself I can truly appreciate the splendor that these posh sunglasses offer. I must say that it’s also a feel-good incentive knowing that in spoiling myself to a great fashion find, I am also supporting 3 individuals in developing countries benefit from a pair of prescription glasses!

RAZON’S philosophy “Eye for an Eye” is kind of a major deal. For every pair of sunglasses sold they will donate 3 pairs of prescription glasses to individuals in the developing world. Yes, THREE!

They have linked up with Eyejusters, a company who is overcoming the need for optometrist by allowing users to adjust the lenses to suit their own eyes through their revolutionary glasses. Cool, right?! The innovation doesn’t stop there; when a customer purchases a pair of RAZON sunglasses, they will receive a digital tracking code to track their donated pairs of prescription glasses as they are delivered to individuals in the developing world… talk about gratification.

Can’t wait to see everything they have in store, starting with RAZON’s official launch on March 26th, during Miami’s Winter Music Conference (WMC)!

Carnival Miami

Friday night, was all about tropical glam. The Kiwanis of Miami hosted their annual Carnival Miami Gala at the most fitting Jungle Island. Hazel, my girl friend, and I glammed up for an evening of Bacardi cocktails, live Cuban rhythms, and beautifully dressed people.

How lucky am I to have quality & designer shops, cafe’s, restaurants and art galleries near my new home? For that reason, this is where it’s at on social Saturday afternoons. Easy Breezy, the only other thing I could possibly ask for is an extra $20k to purchase a few items I’ve had my eyes on. Louis Vuitton, Marni, Celine, Emilio Pucci, Christian Louboutin, Versace Home & Cartier.. Just to mention a few of the spots in the  Design District scene where I like to indulge and begin masterminding budgeting strategies.

I felt completely comfortable and appropriate for the outing, Saturday strolls at Design District, Miami .

Recently, I have been totally obsessing over Royal Blue or how I prefer to call it, Power Blue. It may because I’m from the Magic City, Miami, or maybe because Jay-Z is my favorite rapper, maybe it’s because I’m Cuban, or quite possibly because blue  is simply my favorite color. Either way it’s the one of the colors that I’m currently into as we transition from Winter to Spring. I know most of the nation is still dealing with the polar vortex (sorry) but we are talking about Miami here!

I tend to gravitate towards accessories, handbags and shoes that carry metals, chains and  hardware on them. For me it has something to do with the way the heavy materials feel and look; they’re tough, rustic, edgy, not polished but polished, and hard. Feels of good quality. The perfect match to harden up and add a bit of bad girl edge to any outfit.

This outfit was truly inspired by how I was feeling that day. Hard and edgy but still sexy. Regardless of the turbulent start I had to the day, with a good attitude, I was able to end it fabulously.

Always remember attitude is everything, all the time.  Have a great weekend!

Love,

TALKIN’ BLOGGIN’

Our few days of cold weather have arrived and I’ve been taking total advantage of it. Today I was out with the lovely Ria Michelle, talking blogging. Can I just say eeek ! It was an amazing day at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. The weather was absolute perfection. Sunny, clear skies with a cool air in the 60’s.  Ria was shooting today and I came out to chat with her and lend a pair of hands; she was so amazing and sweet!

I didn’t get to ask about Ria Michelle’s dress but it was a beautiful, delicate layered hi-lo lace dress. The perfect match to the edgy black leather boyfriend jacket from Filthy Magic and Valentino Rockstud Slingback‘s she was wearing.
